According to sources from Germany, the Guinean has made up his mind, as it seems we won't be seeing him in the yellow jersey next season

Exclusive news from Germany: Serhou Guirassy wants to leave Borussia Dortmund in the upcoming June Transfer Window!

According to BILD, the Guinean has finally made up his mind and informed the club about his decision, as his two-year spell at Signal Iduna Park seems to be coming to an end.

The striker's future has been an unresolved issue for some time, as neither the player nor his agent and brother revealed their stance. Until now.

Even though Guirassy's deal with the BVB expires in 2028, it includes a (rather cheap) €35 million release clause, which is a highly affordable amount for many clubs, so the BVB can hardly do anything to prevent the striker from leaving.

Yet one thing is certain - he'll easily find a new team, as the list of interested parties is quite long. From AC Milan (reportedly a top contender for Guirassy's signature) and Fenerbahce, to some Premier League and Saudi sides.

Now, it's up to the Guinean to decide whether he wants to focus on success in European football or on the financial security a move to Saudi Arabia could bring him.

Guirassy joined Dortmund in July 2024 from Stuttgart for €18 million. In two years with the BVB, he scored 56 goals in 90 appearances, but failed to win any trophies and break Bayern Munich's dominance in German football.

Still, he'll undoubtedly remember his stint in the yellow jersey fondly, as it helped him establish himself as a prolific striker, ruthless scorer, and one of the best African centre-forwards in Europe.
