In an interesting turn of events, Besiktas activated a purchase option for the Englishman on loan from Roma, only to sell him to the Villans and effortlessly earn €8 million
Tammy Abraham is back in England!
Four and a half years after leaving Chelsea for Roma, and after spells with the Wolfess, AC Milan, and the Turkish side Besiktas, the striker is back in the Premier League, reuniting with Aston Villa.

Reuniting because he spent nine months at Villa Park on loan from the Blues in the 2018/2019 season. Back then, Abraham scored 25 goals in the Championship and netted a decisive penalty in the shoot-out against West Bromwich Albion in the semi-finals of the playoffs, which in the end resulted in the Birmingham side's promotion to the EPL.
However, now, he has returned as a well-known football name, an experienced scorer, and a valuable asset in the Villans' title race against Arsenal and Manchester City.

Namely, until yesterday, the 28-year-old was a Roma loanee at Besiktas. Nevertheless, when the Turks realized the Villans were willing to splurge significant money for the striker, they shortly activated the purchase clause, and bought him for €13 million.
A day later, they sold him to Villa for €21 million, effortlessly earning €8 million!
The Villans' boss Unai Emery is reportedly a huge admirer of Abraham, whom he wanted to sign three years ago, but the centre-forward's serious knee injury derailed the eventual move.
Now, Tammy is ready for his new spell in Birmingham, where he'll be a competition to Ollie Watkins for the position of a starting striker on Emery's team.
