Bukayo Saka will proabaly miss the crucial derby with Manchster City
Arsenal made an unpleasant surprise by losing to Lens in the second round of the Champions League group stage (1:2). It was the first defeat for Mikel Arteta's company in the current season, but the Spanish expert is not so much worried about the result, as he is about the injury to the key player - Bukayo Saka.
The English international complained of muscle problems at the end of the first half and in the 34th minute, he gave way to Fabio Vieira. Thus, his appearance in the derby against Manchester City next weekend is questionable, and how much the Gunners could miss him is best shown by the fact that he did not fail to appear in 87 matches in the Premier League.
"He tried to catch the ball with his heel in the first half and felt something. It was a muscle problem, he felt discomfort and was unable to continue, so we had to replace him. We don't know how serious the injury is, but it is enough the fact that he could not continue the match and that of course worries us", said Arteta added that he does not know if he will be ready for the clash with the champion of Europe and England.

Arsenal's coach does not regret including him in the starting 11, even though it was mentioned that he had certain problems in the previous days.
"He got a knock a few days ago but everything was fine with him. He didn't miss games when it happened to him before. We rested him against Brentford in the League Cup and that was it. He was looking forward to the game. Like any player. It was this is another big night in the Champions League. I told him that I have a picture, a scenario, what kind of match awaits us and they knew everything well, but in the Champions League it is difficult to win, especially on the side and this is a big lesson for us" said the Spaniard.
Arsenal made uncharacteristic mistakes, which are undoubtedly one of the main reasons for the defeat against the vice-champion of France.
"It's part of the game. Mistakes happen all the time in football, every three or four seconds the opponent makes a mistake and we have to adapt. This time, out of complete control, especially after the first goal when we started dominating, we missed two chances to score a goal before them and then the game turned. We defended poorly in the penalty area. That happened - a good team punished us, we didn't punish them like we punished PSV, for example, and that made the difference," pointed out Mikel Arteta and added that he wasn’t disappointed because of the goalkeeper David Raya's mistake in passing the ball for the conceded goal.
