The Juve midfielder once again tested positive for testosterone
Juventus and France midfielder Paul Pogba has tested positive for testosterone for the second time in the counter-analysis undergone earlier this week.
Multiple sources in Italy, including Sky Sport Italia, confirm Pogba has tested positive for testosterone on a second sample.
"I didn't know about the confirmation, I am sorry," Juventus boss Max Allegri said at a press conference on the eve of Saturday's Turin derby against Torino.
"We are waiting for what's coming next, it's useless to comment now. Humanly, I am sorry."
Pogba had tested positive for testosterone after an away Serie A game against Udinese on August 20, which he had entirely spent on the bench. The results of his failed doping test were revealed three weeks ago.
The 2018 France World Cup winner has been suspended and is not training with the team.
His €7m-a-year contract expires in June 2025, but Juventus could now terminate the agreement due to a lengthy ban Pogba could be facing under these circumstances.
