The 18-year-old is currently one of the players in red-hot form in the league, impressing for Kariobangi Sharks both in creative play and in banging goals, the latest being a brace in their 7-0 win over Pwani Oil in the Mozzart Bet Cup round of 64.

The youngster has been eyeing a European move for a while, having attended trials with Swedish clubs AIK and Osters Idrottsforening, but both turned out unsuccessful.
Despite the setbacks, the former Highway Secondary School captain is not about to lose hope and revealed his plan to secure a move to Europe.
“I am working hard every day to improve myself. I have attended many trials, and I will therefore continue to work hard until it finally makes sense,” said Aroko.
“I have learnt many things during those trials. Football in Europe is not easy, but the key to securing success is to keep working hard and impressing in the local scene,” he added.
In the FKF Premier League, Aroko has found the back of the net seven times, his latest being a match-winning penalty against Ulinzi Stars on Sunday, 1 February, a run of form he is delighted with.
“It gives me motivation and makes me work even harder. I know I can score more goals in the upcoming matches. I am targeting at least 15 goals at the end of the season, which is achievable.”
In effect, the victory pulled Sharks out of the foot of the table to 16th with 17 points. While they are still in the relegation zone, Aroko sees better days ahead.
“We have started the second leg well and have already won a match (against Ulinzi) and expect to win more because we surely have to get out of the red zone,” he stated.
If Sharks are to survive relegation, they will be keen to see their Kenya U20 midfielder continue with his impressive form, a responsibility he carries with much grace.

“It (responsibility) is not a big deal for me. I just go out there to enjoy myself, do my best to help the team and then see how that goes.”
