How bizarre, how bizarre: Fulham kicks off their EFL campaign with the most awkward goal you've seen

Aleksandar Mitrovic scores clumsily after several ridiculous mistakes made by Huddersfield
The last season was painful for Fulham since they got relegated (again) after spending a sole campaign in the English top flight. They lost many games thanks to bizarre mistakes made by its own defence, and the dreadful outcome was inevitable - going straight back to the EFL Championship.
However, the first two matchdays of the new season promise a much better destiny for the Craven Cottage outfit. They are at the top of the table, with four points (though, with nine more teams, to be completely honest), and yesterday they smashed Huddersfield 5-1 in a beautiful display.
A deadlock was broken after only nine minutes, and in what way! We promise - you won't see a more awkward goal than Aleksandar Mitrovic's one. It came as a consequence of series of mistakes of the home team, and, eventually, even Mitrovic's strike (or sliding tackle on the ball, if you prefer) was clumsy, but hey... It was 1-0 on the scoreboard, and it boosted Fulham's performance to sky-high levels. Maybe sometimes it's not important how you do it as long as the job is done.
