The Saudi team has multiple options when it comes to strikers, so it’s just a matter of who among the offered players will sign — money isn’t an issue
It seems that the advanced negotiations between Arsenal and Sporting for Viktor Gyokeres have unlocked the market for “number 9” strikers.
The latest news is that Saudi club Al Hilal has begun talks to sign Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic! Renowned journalist Liok Tanzi from the French publication L'Équipe reported tonight that the Saudi club’s interest in the Serbian forward from Juventus is serious and initial steps have been taken.

However, he reveals that Victor Osimhen remains the first choice for the most successful Saudi club. For weeks, there has been a battle between Galatasaray and Al Hilal for the Nigerian striker, who spent last season on loan from Napoli at the Turkish giant. The Italian champions have no intention of keeping him and want to cash in before his contract enters its final year. Although rumors surfaced this morning that Osimhen, despite a better offer from Saudi Arabia, told Napoli’s management that he prefers Galatasaray, it’s clear Al Hilal isn’t giving up easily. Ultimately, it all depends on the player’s wishes...
At the same time, the Saudi powerhouse has started negotiations for Vlahovic because they want to resolve their striker issue as soon as possible. According to speculation in recent weeks, everything points to the Saudi club planning to part ways with Aleksandar Mitrovic, who still has one year left on his contract.
As for Vlahovic, he is also in the final year of his contract with Juventus. He previously rejected proposals to extend his contract for less money, and Juventus insists on parting ways this summer. Arsenal is no longer an option, nor are Newcastle or Milan, which were mentioned as interested parties, but nothing concrete has happened.
Fenerbahce was serious and offered him the same salary as Juventus, but the Serbian striker didn’t want to go to Turkey, and Fener resolved their striker issue tonight by loaning John Duran. If negotiations with both Osimhen and Vlahovic fail, the Saudis will turn to cheaper alternatives like Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Al Qadsiah or Youssef En-Nesyri from Fenerbahçe.
