Despite the speculations about him being the leading candidate to take over Manchester United's bench at the end of the season, the German will remain loyal to the Three Lions
After Ruben Amorim left Manchester United, numerous coaching names were in the mix for the vacant position, including, according to media speculation, Thomas Tuchel.
The German's contract with the FA was to expire after the 2026 FIFA World Cup, so his arrival at Old Trafford before the start of the next season was feasible.
However, all these speculations came to an end earlier this morning, as Tuchel extended his deal until the end of the 2028 European Championship, where he'll lead the Three Lions, who'll be the hosts alongside Scotland, Wales, and the Republic of Ireland.

Thomas Tuchel will lead our #ThreeLions through to 2028 after signing a new contract!
"I am very happy and proud to extend my time with England. It is no secret to anyone that I have loved every minute so far of working with my players and coaches, and I cannot wait to lead them to the World Cup."
"It is an incredible opportunity and we are going to do our very best to make the country proud," Tuchel said following the extension via Sky Sports.
Nevertheless, before the EURO, England will participate in the upcoming World Cup, as always, with sights set on the highest goal - the title they've been waiting for since 1966. They have been drawn in one of the toughest groups in the tournament, Group L, alongside Croatia, Ghana, and Panama, and will start the competition on June 17 against the Balkan country.
Prior to the WC, which starts on June 11, the Three Lions will play four friendly games, against Uruguay (March 27), Japan (March 31), New Zealand (June 6), and Costa Rica (June 10).
So far, Tuchel led England in ten matches, recording nine wins and one defeat - in a friendly clash against Senegal (3-1) - with the impressive goal difference 26-3.
