She joins the club on a two and a half year deal.
Harambee Starlets and former Vihiga Queens custodian Lilian Awuor has been unveiled at her new side ASJ Soyaux-Charente commonly known as Soyaux Women Football Club that plays in the top tier in France.
Awuor has her work cut out as she joins the French side that is fighting to move up the 12-team league standings after twelve rounds of league action. Soyaux are in tenth place after 12 matches, having won only two and drew once.
Saint-Etienne and Issy FF are eleventh and twelfth respectively at five and four points respectively and more losses for Soyaux could spell relegation for the side.

Awour is expected to turn the side's rate of conceding goals around as they, alongside Saint-Etienne have conceded the highest number of goals, at 31 in 12 matches.
Lyon lead the league's standings at 36 points from 12 matches with PSG second three points adrift. Paris FC are third at 28 points, having played 12 matches.
Soyaux are in action on Sunday 30 January against Nantes in a Women's Cup match, a match that Awuor is likely to miss as she has to complete her 14-day isolation period.

Awuor received myriad offers from clubs following her spectacular display at the inaugural CAF Women Champions League in Egypt despite her team exiting the competition at the group stage and settled for the French league.
She was one of Vihiga's standout players in the tournament, being named Woman of the match in the first game against Mamelodi Sundowns despite Queens losing the game, and was equally outstanding in the second match against FAR Rabat as the Kenyan representatives won the game 2-0.
Against Rivers Angels in the last group match, she kept Queens in the game before they finally cracked after the hour mark. Before then, she was also phenomenal at the CECAFA region qualifiers and will be hoping to continue the same form in Europe.
