Ochieng was included in the first-team squad for Saturday’s clash against Real Madrid, but did not feature as the team lost 4-1 at the Bernabéu, ending an 11-game unbeaten run.

So far, the youngster has made two appearances for the first time.

On Monday, Ochieng dropped back to the B team, clocking 77 minutes before being replaced by Alex Marchal.

He also received a booking during the game.

Malaga started the game strongly, taking the lead in the 15th minute through David Larrubia, who capitalized on an assist from Joaquin Muñoz.

The lead lasted just nine minutes, however, as Gorka Carreras leveled the scores for the home side.

The Kenyan international then took matters into his own hands, scoring the winning goal in the 68th minute from a Mikel Rodríguez assist. He was substituted nine minutes later.

Despite Gorka Gorosabel's red card in the 72nd minute, Sociedad B held on to secure maximum points, a victory that lifted them to 16th on the La Liga 2 table with 31 points.

Their next match is away to Cadiz CF on Monday evening.

Elsewhere, Ryan Ogam has joined the Wolfsberger AC B team after being out of the first-team setup for several months.

The Harambee Stars striker had not featured for the first team in close to 15 games and was sent to the B team to help with his acclimatization in Austria.

The former Tusker FC striker last featured for the B team on 6 February, scoring the final goal in a 4-0 win over VST Völkermarkt.

Wolfsberger B’s next match is against USV St. Anna on 28th February.
