Harambee Stars striker Alfred Scriven has signed a three-year deal with Norwegian second tier side Bryne Fotballklubb (FK).
The 26 year old, who was a free-agent after seeing out his contract with Division 2 side IL Hødd, completed his move on Wednesday just before the deadline expired at midnight.

Another player, Imre Bech Hermansen, 17, also joined the team playing in the OBOS League at the same period, though on loan from Fredrikstad.
“Alfred will complement the team and give us a powerful width in our attack,” club Director of Football Roger Eskeland said on capturing Scriven on a deal that runs till 31 December 2026. “He has some skills that we have been looking for in our offensive positions.”
Scriven, who boasts of OBOS League experience, scored eight goals for Hødd last season, and returned a haul of 22 goals and six assists since joining in 2021 from Mjondalen IF.
The Norwegian-born who has already turned out for Kenya - he was last called up to Engin Firat’s squad in November last year - has previously played for Hallingdal, Geilo, Ull/Kisa and Asker, all clubs in Norway.
“He is a player with extreme skills, such an amazing physique while being sloppy and elegant,” Ole Kevin Knappen, manager of Bryne, and who signed Scriven while at Hodd, said of his new toy. “He has technically fine balance and he gives us something new to play on in the attack.”
With his signing, Scriven, who will wear the number 11 shirt, joins a studded list of Kenyan strikers who shone at the club, joining former Harambee Stars players Bonaventure Maruti and Paul Oyuga.
Second on the log with three points from their opening day win over Start, Bryne visit Stabæk Fotball at the Nadderud Stadion on Saturday, when Scriven could make his debut.
