Harambee Stars midfielder finds new home in Albania

The 26-year-old has signed a one-year deal with an option to extend for one more season

Harambee Stars midfielder Amos Nondi has finally found a new home after signing for Albanian top-tier club FK Partizani.

Nondi, 26, was unveiled by the side on Monday, 11 August, ending transfer speculations that had him linked to a surprise move to French Ligue 1 side Paris FC.

“FK Partizani is pleased to announce the newest addition to the team,” the Abissnet Superiore side posted on their website, accompanied by an image of Nondi, who will wear jersey number 99.

His contract with the Reds has been termed as 1+1, meaning that his first year will be guaranteed, with the second one being an option to extend.

Nondi joins Partizan after three successful seasons with Armenian side Ararat, where he stood out with his midfield performances, racking up over 144 matches and a total of 11,208 minutes.

The Kenya international played 28 matches last season, including four in the UEFA Conference League playoffs.

The former Gor Mahia man was however, not on the scoresheet in two of the three seasons in Armenia, only scoring once in the 2022/2023 campaign.

Nondi’s other stints abroad have seen him feature for Georgian sides Dila Gori and Kolkheti Poti.

Having had successful medicals, Nondi was pictured in the team’s training session on Monday and is expected to be in line for their opening game of the 2025-2026 season on Saturday, 23 August.

FK Partizani Football Club was founded in 1946 and is based in the capital city, Tiranë.

The club’s home ground is the “Selman Stermasi” Stadium, and possesses a good track record, having won 17 Albanian Premier League titles, 15 Albanian Cups, three Albanian Supercups, and one Balkan Cup.
