In a match played at the Major General Stadium, Yanga needed nothing short of victory to confirm their status as champions, with fierce rivals Simba SC breathing down their necks.
The defending champions wasted little time asserting their authority, breaking the deadlock in the eighth minute through Zambian striker Prince Dube.
The forward collected the ball on the edge of the penalty area before curling a delightful effort beyond the reach of the JKT Tanzania goalkeeper to give Yanga an early advantage.
Despite the early setback, JKT Tanzania gradually settled into the contest and mounted a spirited response.
Their disciplined defensive display frustrated Yanga for much of the remainder of the first half, restricting the champions-elect to limited clear-cut chances.
Nevertheless, Yanga comfortably preserved their slender lead and headed into the halftime break with a 1-0 advantage.
The second half, however, belonged entirely to the record champions.
Six minutes after the restart, Congolese forward Maxi Nzengeli Mpia doubled Yanga's lead after finishing off a well-worked attacking move, leaving JKT Tanzania with a mountain to climb.
Yanga maintained their relentless attacking intensity and struck six minutes after the hour mark.
Dube clinically completed his brace, calmly dispatching his effort to put the contest beyond doubt and cap off another dominant display by the newly crowned champions.
The victory secured Yanga a remarkable fifth Tanzania Premier League title on the bounce, fending off stiff competition from Simba SC, who finished second despite edging KMC 1-0 in their final league fixture.
The triumph also extended Yanga's record tally of league championships to an impressive 27 titles, further cementing their dominance in Tanzanian football.
For Abuya, the success marked his second league title since joining Yanga during the 2024/25 campaign.
The former Kenya Police FC midfielder once again played a key role in the club's title-winning season and had the honour of captaining the side on the day they sealed the championship.
Pamba Jiji Kenyan trio
Elsewhere in the Tanzanian top flight, Pamba Jiji, home to Kenyan trio Brian Eshihanda, Shaphan Siwa and Mathew Tegisi, wrapped up their campaign with a 2-1 defeat, extending their winless run to three consecutive matches.
Mtibwa Sugar Kenyan coach
Meanwhile, Mtibwa Sugar, coached by Kenyan tactician Yusuf Chipo, suffered relegation after falling 2-1 to Namungo FC.
As the curtain came down on another Tanzania Premier League season, Yanga once again reaffirmed their status as the country's dominant force, while Abuya added another major honour to his growing trophy cabinet in Tanzanian football.
