The forward joined Zambian side Power Dynamos FC in July from Kakamega Homeboyz and has so far netted eight goals
Harambee Stars forward Moses Shumah has taken to life in Zambia like a duck to water, both in the Zambian Super League and CAF Champions League but this is neither by luck nor an accident.
The Kenyan striker has found the back of the net six times and provided two assists in ten league rounds he has played so far -and has further scored twice in the CAF Champions League.

His impressive goal contributions are certainly an early and solid return on the massive investment Power Dynamos FC made in him during the off-season transfer window.
Dynamos reportedly splashed in excess of Ksh2 million to acquire Shumah from the 2023 Mozzart Bet Cup champions, Kakamega Homeboyz.
Once the deal was sealed, Shumah knew there would be intense spotlight on his performances at Dynamos, considering that he won the 2024-2025 FKF Premier League's Golden Boot among other sporting factors.
The 23-year-old also recognised that he had to adapt to a new environment, a fresh sporting landscape, food, weather and all other challenges a player has to deal with in a foreign land.
He understood that there was no room for laxity and slipping into a comfort zone.
The 23-year-old has so far exceeded expectations, with all indications pointing to a potential blockbuster season for the man who is barely four seasons old at the competitive level.
Good pre-season, hard work, and all other key ingredients were cited as reasons for his powerful take off in Zambia when Mozzart Sport exclusively reached out to Shumah.
However, the forward says the real game-changer came off the pitch thanks to a decision he made two months after setting foot in Zambia - one that has profoundly impacted both his life and performances on the pitch.
The Harambee Stars striker revealed that having his spouse join him in Zambia has been a pivotal move, as her support and companionship have grounded him, allowing him to fully focus on delivering goals for the Aba Yellow.
"When I arrived here, I knew I had to approach things with professionalism to succeed. I understood what was expected of me and had to make some important decisions. In my early days, I encountered challenges that could have affected my performance if not addressed.
That is when I decided to bring my spouse here, and ever since, things have been smooth. Her presence has played a big role in helping me settle, and the goals you see on the pitch," opened up Shumah.
The 2023 Mozzart Bet Cup's Most Valuable Player (MVP) spoke warmly of his wife, hailing her for the sacrifice of leaving everything behind to support his career.
"I could not have asked for more from her. She ensures that I am comfortable and shows up on match days to support the boys and me. Her presence here means a lot," he said.
The backing the former Equity FC trialist is enjoying is one that he acknowledges could not be coming his way were it not for Power Dynamos' head honchos.
Shumah said club bosses were kind enough to approve his request to have his family in Kitwe and went on to facilitate the necessary paperwork.
"I also thank the club for supporting the process of bringing my loved one here. They assisted in securing the necessary documents and handling other logistics," he conceded.
The player's revelation that family ties have been a source of motivation behind his fine displays did not come as a surprise.
When he made his FKF Premier League bow in December 2022 against Kenya Police FC at Ulinzi Complex, Shumah scored the lone goal and celebrated by honouring his late younger brother Paul Luseno.
Similarly, when he marked his Harambee Stars debut with a goal in June 2023 against Pakistan, he dedicated it to his mother, Beatrice Ingato.
Meanwhile, the Eldoret-born player disclosed how two of his compatriots influenced his decision to snub Zesco United for Dynamos.
The Chapa Dimba na Safaricom graduate said he solicited advice from former Harambee Stars assistant captain David 'Calabar' Owino and former Gor Mahia midfielder John Ochieng before making the move.
Calabar won several titles during his glittering spell with Zesco, while Ochieng is currently attached to another Zambian side, Zanaco.
"I had plenty of offers during the off-season transfer window. I found myself at a crossroads after the two Zambian giants made their bids. I reached out to Calabar and Ochieng for advice - and it was after hearing from them that I chose Dynamos," he opened up on his choice.
