Harambee Stars forward Moses Shumah announced his arrival in the Zambian Super League in spectacular fashion, scoring twice on his full debut as Power Dynamos secured a vital 2-0 win over Napsa Stars.
The former Kakamega Homeboyz hitman, who joined the defending Zambian Super League champions in June after a remarkable outing in the FKF-PL 2024/25 season that saw him bag 17 goals, needed only five minutes into the second half to make his mark.

Rising above his marker, the towering striker planted a thunderous header into the net from a neatly weighted Kondwani Chiboni corner-kick delivery to register his first-ever goal for Dynamos and in Zambian football.
Shumah could have doubled his tally in the 81st minute when his curling volley beat the goalkeeper but struck the upright, leaving the home fans on edge.
However, his persistence paid off in stoppage time as he calmly slotted home his second of the evening, perfectly hitting a left-foot volley from Prince Mumba’s delivery to seal both his brace and Dynamos’ triumph.
The victory marked Power Dynamos’ second of the season, extending their unbeaten run to three matches. With seven points in the bag, the Copperbelt Energy Corporation–sponsored side now sits among the early pacesetters, just three behind leaders MUZA FC, who have played one game more.
Dynamos remain one of only five sides yet to taste defeat, alongside MUZA, Red Arrows, Zanaco, and Kabwe Warriors.
Shumah’s dream debut, however, came in the absence of fellow Harambee Stars forward Emmanuel Osoro, who missed out on the squad.
Attention now shifts to Wednesday, 17 September, when Power Dynamos lock horns with second-placed Nchanga Rangers. A win could see the Aba Yellow climb closer to the league summit, with the 2023 Mozzart Bet Cup Most Valuable Player (MVP) once again expected to lead from the front.
