The right-back received the top honour during the club’s annual Players’ Awards Gala held on Saturday, July 26, at Masinde Muliro Stadium in Bungoma County.
Bandi edged out midfield general Mousa Oundo, who was named first runner-up, while goalkeeper Levis Opiyo came third after keeping 11 clean sheets throughout the season.
After enduring a two-year injury setback that hampered his progress under former coach Tomas Trucha, Bandi returned to top form under head coach Fred Ambani.
He logged 3,126 minutes across 32 matches, the most by any Ingwe player this season.
He also topped the club's passing charts with 1,967 completed passes, among the best tallies in the league, and contributed one assist while creating 21 chances.
His stellar performances earned him a call-up to the Harambee Stars, and he is currently part of the squad preparing for the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN), set to be hosted in Kenya.
Bandi, began his football journey at Makadara Junior League (MJL) before joining the AFC Leopards Youth Team, where he featured in the KPL U-20 tournament.
He was promoted to the senior team in 2020 under coaches Trucha and Anthony Kimani and made his top-flight debut against KCB on January 17, 2021.
Bandi also clinched the Best Defender of the Season award edging Kennedy Owino and Randy Bakari.
Ronald Sichenje's eight goal contributions earned him the club's Best Attacker Award .
