Hammers lure United's gem with what Amorim refuses to give him

More and more clubs are knocking on Kobbie Mainoo's door after he's practically been written off at Old Trafford
Kobbie Mainoo's days at Man United seem to be numbered. Even though he spent his youth days and entire professional career at Theatre of Dreams, he apparently can't change Ruben Amorim's mind and get more playing time. As things stand now, he can only choose where he wants to continue his career.
Napoli's interest in the midfielder is no secret, as the Serie A champions won't hesitate to make a move for him, especially after Kevin De Bruyne's injury. However, if the 20-year-old would like to stay in England, he'll allegedly have that option as well.
According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, West Ham are keen on Mainoo and are willing to give him what Amorim can't - a guaranteed position in the starting XI.
Nuno Espirito Santo appreciates the player's abilities and is ready to make a promise seldom seen in modern football. After all, Mainoo has been hailed as one of England's gems not long ago, so the Portuguese believes he has little to lose.

"West Ham are offering Kobbie Mainoo a GUARANTEED starting spot
"Mainoo would still be open for a loan move in the January transfer window, but it's on United now.
"He would like to play on loan for six months then back to United."… pic.twitter.com/q00okUiofp
The Hammers have some quality midfielders like Guido Rodriguez, Soungoutou Magassa, Freddie Potts, Tomas Soucek, James Ward-Prowse, Mateus Fernandes (whom they brought from Southampton for €44 million), and Lucas Paqueta, the first star of the team, but the popular NES could really use a talented box-to-box player like Mainoo in the relegation battle that awaits the London club.
It wouldn't be a surprise if even more interested parties entered the race for United's prospect, so his transfer saga seems to have only begun.
