The Spaniard emphasized the demands of the duel against Bayern
Manchester City gained a significant advantage (3-0) before the rematch with Bayern in Munich and are significantly closer to the semi-finals of the Champions League. On their way to victory, Pep Guardiola's side had the smallest possession percentage as hosts in the current manager's era, but the fact that they controlled the ball for 44.6 percent of the time did not reflect the final outcome.
"I am emotionally destroyed. I have 10 more years today. This was such a demanding game. It was not comfortable," Guardiola said after the game and added:
"Now I need to relax. The players have a day off and we start preparing for Leicester".
Erling Haaland made the victory more convincing, but Guardiola pointed out that the work is not done.
"We got an incredible result, but I know what can happen in Munich. If you don't play very well, they can score one, two, three goals. I know that, and the players know that. We have a great result, but we have to play our game. If it doesn't work out like that, anything can happen."
