In a statement released on the club's official social media platforms, the record Kenyan champions announced that striker Chris Ochieng, defenders Levin Odhiambo and Fidel Origa, winger Bryson Wangai, goalkeeper Gad Mathews and defender Geoffrey Ochieng have all left the club following the expiry of their contracts or by mutual agreement.

Among the notable exits is striker Chris Ochieng, who joined K'Ogalo from Bandari FC in 2023. Although he struggled for regular playing time, the forward was part of the squad that lifted the FKF Premier League title during the 2023/24 season and again in the recently concluded 2025/26 campaign.

Defender Levin Odhiambo also brings his stay at the club to an end after arriving at the start of the 2024/25 season. Gor Mahia endured a rare trophyless campaign in his first year, he leaves with a league winners' medal following the club's triumphant 2025/26 season.

Defensive midfielder Fidel Origa also exits after spending just one season with the Green Army. The former Bandari FC midfielder had joined on a two-year contract, but now departs before seeing out the deal.

Winger Bryson Wangai, whose contract has expired, also leaves after an impressive spell that saw him win three league titles with the club, while goalkeeper Gad Mathews and defender Geoffrey Ochieng complete the list of senior departures after their respective contracts came to an end.

Alongside the exits, Gor Mahia have also loaned out two youngsters to accelerate their development. Midfielder Mark Shaban will spend the upcoming campaign at Posta Rangers, while youngster Elly Owande has also secured a season-long loan move in search of regular first-team football.

The departures are expected to pave the way for a number of new signings as Gor Mahia strengthen their squad for the new campaign.

The club is understood to have already secured the services of goalkeepers Humphrey Katasi, and Michael Onyango, striker Paul Odhiambo and midfielder David Okoth as preparations for the new season gather pace.
