Giant between posts saves Napoli again, Vardy's goal fails to spoil Spalletti's debut at Juve

The Neapolitans' keeper, Vanja Milinkovic Savic, stopped a penalty in his second consecutive game, salvaging a goalless draw for his team against Como, while the ex-Leicester man scored again in Cremonese's 2-1 loss to Juventus
Napoli remain at the top of Serie A, but that could change already today. Yesterday, Antonio Conte's crew "only" drew to Cesc Fabregas' giant-killers, Como, 0-0 and gave Roma a chance to leapfrog them if they beat AC Milan in a derby clash at San Siro (22.45).
In the previous round against Lecce, the Neapolitans scraped through and managed to win thanks to their goalkeeper Vanja Milinkovic Savic, who stopped Francesco Camarda's penalty kick, and Frank Anguissa, who scored the winner.
Vanja Milinkovic-Savic is the 1st Napoli keeper to save penalties in back to back Serie A games since Morgan De Sanctis in January 2010 (vs Palermo & Livorno) #NapoliComo #Napoli #Como #SerieA #SerieAEnilive #penaltysave #MilinkovicSavic 🇷🇸

Last night against Como, the Serbian giant between the posts - standing at 2.02 meters tall - once again stepped up and saved Alvaro Morata's 26th-minute effort from the spot. However, his teammates failed to find the net on the back of his incredible performance, and the rivals shared the spoils.
Kevin De Bruyne's absence is taking its toll, as Napoli seriously lack creativity in the attack, so Conte will have a challenging task in getting his players accustomed to life without the injured Belgian - at least until he returns.
On the other hand, Como extended their unbeaten run to nine games, and once again managed to trip the favourites.
The former Napoli boss and the man who brought them their first Scudetto in 33 years, Luciano Spalletti, made his debut on Juventus' bench last night and did it successfully, with a 2-1 win over Cremonese.
Juve's "shock therapy" seems to have worked, as the team won its second game in a row after an eight-game winless streak under the sacked Igor Tudor.
The man who barely played during the Croat's spell in the dugouts, Filip Kostic, broke the deadlock just 85 seconds into the game, while Andrea Cambiaso gave the Old Lady a comfortable lead in the 68th minute.

Still, Jamie Vardy was close to spoiling the visitors' party, reducing the gap in the 83rd minute, but Cremonese ultimately failed to pull off an upset. Nevertheless, the popular Tigers' fans can be pleased that the Englishman scored in his second consecutive match, meaning that he's slowly but surely finding his form.
Thanks to this road triumph, Juve moved up to the fifth Serie A spot and are tied with the Milan giants, though both Inter and AC Milan have yet to play their Round 10 matches.
