Red Devils' legend sums up the entirety of frustration among the fanbase, as the once giants stumble on a very first hurdle in the new season
It almost hasn't started yet, and it's already atrocious. That's the summary of Manchester United's season after the matchday one, embellished with another dreadful defeat.
The loss against Brighton could have been less frustrating maybe, if it wasn't for that clueless display, especially in the midfield. The axis McTominay-Fred seems incapable of providing a necessary ball fluidity, which affects United's creativity in the final third. That's what worries fans, pundits and all others surrounding the club.
One of them, Man Utd legend Roy Keane couldn't hold back following his former club's defeat on Sunday, either.
"The decision-making and the footballing intelligence from the midfield - particularly Fred, I've been on him for a long time - Fred and [Scott] McTominay, not good enough," Keane told Sky Sports.

"They won't get Man United back competing at the top. We see it week in, week out. Not up to it.
"There are huge issues going on there, it's a rebuilding job. It needs time. A really bad start today, but give the man [Ten Hag] a chance, give him money, he's got the recruit.
"He mentioned before the game about the culture. There's issues upstairs at the club, there's more protests at the club from the supporters today.
"So, big, big problems at United, "concluded he.
