FKF Women's Cup set to resume in February

The competition will be making a comeback after two years absence

The 2nd edition of the FKF Women Cup, a knockout competition involving FKF Women Premier League, FKF Women Division One, and FKF Women Regional League clubs will kick off on February 18, 2023, the Football Kenya Federation has announced.

Ulinzi Starlets were crowned the inaugural champions when they saw off Vihiga Queens 2-1 in the final of the first edition in February 2021 courtesy of goals from Lucy Mukhwana and Christine Wekesa, with Topister Situma scoring the consolation for Queens.

Registration for the tournament opened on Friday and will run until January 26, 2023, followed by a draw for the round of 64 which will be held on February 6, 2023.

The Round of 64 will take place on February 18, 2023, before paving way for the Round of 32 will be played on March 18, 2023, and later the Round of 16 is set to begin on April 15, 2023.

Quarters are scheduled for May 20, 2023, with the semis set to take place a month later on June 26, 2023, and the final on July 27, 2023.

20th May 2023 – Match Day Four | Quarter Finals

24th June 2023 – Match Day Five | Semi-Finals

2nd July 2023– Match Day Six | Finals
