FKF DIV ONE: Amboko satisfied with club transfer activity

Sigalagala National Polytechnic Football Club head coach David Amboko is contented with the club's off season transfer business ahead of their first third tier league action.

The students' got promoted to Division One in 2022-2023 season and managed a fifth-place finish at their first time of asking.

The young tactician after overseeing his sides recruitment is pleased with what he has gathered, placing belief in them to guide him to the National Super League.

He further notes that the team managed to close the gaps that costed them the previous season that saw them have one of the best home records in the league just behind the eventual league winners Luanda Villa.

He believes with the arsenals brought in and support from the institution management, the poly boys are going to be a force to reckon this term.

"I am really excited for the new season and everything that awaits ahead. We have managed to assemble some of the best talents in the region that will take on with a storm. I can confidently say that we have the best team in the whole zone currently," offered the former central defender.

Sigalagala have reinforced their squad by adding in eight players drawn across lower tier sides in Western at the same team keeping hold of more than twenty players that turned out for them last season.

Some of the talents to link up with the Kakamega stationed club are Daniel Ochieng from Fusion Busia, Alpha Tiberius from fourth tier side Bungoma Stars, midfielder Morris Ominde from Mombasa Elites and Eugene Mudeshi from Chekalini Combined.

Others are Phanuel Odour from Chemilil Sugar Youth, Arnold Matekwa and Elvis Ihumba from Museno Samba.

The club have also parted ways with striker Maya Samuel to Luanda Villa, Maxwell Kibasi to Aps Bomet and Bricks Egondi to Kisumu All Stars.
