FKF announce guide on how to access Kasarani, Nyayo Stadia for CHAN opening matches

In an official update shared via its social media platforms, the federation urged fans to familiarise themselves with the designated entry and ticket verification points

With just hours remaining before the curtain rises on the much-anticipated 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN), the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has issued a comprehensive advisory outlining stadium access procedures for fans attending matches at Kasarani and Nyayo Stadia.

In an official update shared via its social media platforms, the federation urged fans to familiarise themselves with the designated entry and ticket verification points to avoid congestion and last-minute confusion at the gates.

Kasarani Stadium Access: Kenya vs DRC Congo

For Kenya’s Group A opener against DR Congo set for Sunday, 3 August, at 3:00 PM (EAT), fans with regular silver tickets will be granted access through Kasarani Stadium's Gates 1, 2, and 3. The access routes to these gates include:

Gate 1 & 2: Entry through Thika Road Mall (TRM), Mwiki, Ngomongo Road, and Safari Park footbridge.

Gate 3: Access via the Safari Park footbridge.

Ticket verification for these gates will take place at the following checkpoints: TRM interchange, Entry opposite Safari Park Hotel, Ngomongo Police Station and at Kasarani Gate 11

Gate 4 has been exclusively designated for Presidential, VIP, media personnel, and VAPS-accredited guests. Entry to this gate will also be via the Safari Park footbridge, with only accredited vehicles allowed beyond this point.

Nyayo Stadium Access: Morocco vs Angola

For the second Group A fixture on the same day, Morocco will face Angola at Nyayo National Stadium from 6:00 PM (EAT). Fans with silver tickets can enter the stadium through Gates 1, 2, and 3, while Gate 4 remains strictly reserved for VIP and VVIP ticket holders.

Gates 1 & 2 can be accessed via Uhuru Highway, while Gates 3 & 4 will be accessible through Langata Road and Douglas Wakihuri Road on Aerodrome Drive.

Ticket verification for silver ticket holders will be conducted at Bunyala, Lusaka, Mombasa Roads and T-Mall.

Verification for VIP and VVIP attendees at Gate 4 will occur post-entry at designated internal checkpoints.

FKF has called upon fans to arrive early to allow for smooth ticket checks and entry procedures. The federation emphasised that these guidelines are intended to enhance safety, orderliness, and the overall matchday experience for all attendees.
