The Italian media report that the Blues sent a bid for Juventus' young superstar Kenan Yildiz, but the Old Lady brushed it off
Chelsea are one of the financially most potent clubs in the world at the moment. On top of that, they are World Champions. So, who wouldn't want to join them?
For these or some other reasons, yet, as many as seven players in this transfer window have already accepted the offer to come to Stamford Bridge, while the London side splurged almost €250 million for Kendry Paez, Mamadou Sarr, Dario Essugo, Estevao, Liam Delap, Joao Pedro, and Jamie Gittens.
Even though five of the players mentioned above are forwards, Chelsea apparently aren't done with their offensive shopping spree, as they have allegedly tried to sign Juventus' Kenan Yildiz!

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Blues offered €65-68 million for the scorer of three goals in four games at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, but the bid was expectedly immediately brushed off.
The Bianconeri have recently signed Jonathan David as a free agent and are actively searching for another forward - Jadon Sancho is allegedly close to Allianz Stadium - to complete Igor Tudor's offensive puzzle. Hence, selling their arguably best player, regardless of the lavishness of the offer, would be completely illogical.
This way, Chelsea will have to turn to other alternatives, though that won't be a problem, as their shortlist is quite long and includes names like Malick Fofana, Xavi Simons, and Jorrel Hato, among others.
