Mozzart Sport can exclusively reveal that K'Ogalo have signed attacking midfielders duo of George Amonoo and Ebenezer Adukwaw.
Gor Mahia had a 2024/25 season to forget, as they finished second to Kenya Police FC in the league and lost the Mozzart Bet Cup final to then National Super League club Nairobi United.
The trophyless campaign, the first in nine years, saw fans press the management and the then technical bench hard for answers.
The executive responded by dismissing the entire technical bench and the security department.
The club then embarked on an aggressive rebuilding of the squad from the technical staff to the players with the first stop being Ghana.
The club hired Ghanaian tactician Charles Akonnor who was joined by his backroom staff consisting of compatriots: Kobi-Mensah Bismark as his assistant, Ben Owu as goalkeeper trainer and Joshua Boafo as video analyst.
The club has added more Ghanaians in the team following the arrival of Amonoo and Adukwaw.
Amonoo is a 26-year-old attacking midfielder who can also play either as a right or left winger.
Besides scoring, the former Karela United midfielder will be tasked with creating chances.
According to Transfer Market, Amonoo has been without a club for slightly a year, having parted ways with Karela United in August 2024 after a three-year stay.
Adukwaw, on the other hand, is a 24-year-old striker who can also play on the left wing.
Adukwar joins K'Ogalo from Ghanaian top tier club Bechem United whom he joined in September 2023 from Kosovo's second tier side KF Trepca 89.
Both Amonoo and Adukwar are believed to have been recommended by head coach Akonnor.
With the transfer window expected to close on Friday, 5 September at midnight, K'Ogalo will hope to wrap business with the acquisition of a centre forward.
