Chelsea defender apparently doesn't plan to go easy on his Spain teammate from Barcelona

Tomorrow night, Chelsea will face one of the toughest challenges in today's football and lock horns with Barcelona in the Champions League. The Blues' defence will be in for a particularly difficult task, having to somehow stop Robert Lewandowski, Ferran Torres, Raphinha, and Lamine Yamal.

Yet, the 18-year-old seems to be the biggest threat to Robert Sanchez's goal, as he recorded four goals and five assists in the last seven games in all competitions.

One of Enzo Maresca's defensive soldiers and Yamal's Spain teammate, Marc Cucurella, spoke to the media ahead of the clash and - aware of the youngster's abilities - jokingly disclosed a special preparation for the duel with Barca's gem.

Following the reporter's remark that Estevao could train him for Yamal, the popular Cucu revealed the advice he gave to the young Brazilian.

"I told Estevao to put on shin pads in this training session because I'm going to be training [for Yamal] on him," the left-back stated (via Chelsea News), causing the entire room to burst into laughter.

Still, given that there's a grain of truth in every joke, we can only assume that Cucurella does not intend to go easy on his compatriot.

After all, what happens on the pitch stays on the pitch, right?
