The Dane has an implantable cardioverter-defibrillator connected to the heart after collapsing in the EURO 2020 maiden game

Christian Eriksen is still far from the possible return to the pitch following a shocking cardiac arrest at the opening game of the EURO 2020.

His current club Inter Milan is not the side he'll engage with even if the doctors approve he's capable of playing again.

"Although the current conditions of the player are not such that allow the achievement of sporting aptitude in Italy, the same could be achieved in other countries where, therefore, the player could resume competitive activity ", say Inter about Eriksen, who does not have permission to return to play in Italy for the time being.

This way, Inter open up to a possible sale of Eriksen, who has an implantable cardioverter-defibrillator connected to the heart, which prevents him from playing in Italy due to the country's regulations.
