Ugandan forward hoping to attend belated trials in Malaysia at the end of the season
Veteran Equity forward Sande Katumba has revealed his intentions of jetting out the country at the end of the season to attend trials in Malaysia.
The Ugandan forward disclosed that he had was invited for trials at Singburi Bangrajun FC in February but lack of airfare saw him shelve the plan and ended up signing for the division one club.

Katumba who was part of the Equity squad which shocked Bandari in the quarter finals of the Football Kenya Federation Cup on Wednesday said that the Malaysian team has been keeping close tabs with him and had expressed their desire to assess him before the new season kicks off.
The stocky goal poacher remained confident of impressing in the trials and sealing a big money transfer and fullfil his childhood dream.
"I was invited for trials in February but I did not travel due to lack of money. The club is still interested in gauging me in summer and thus I will be leaving at the end of the season to try my luck," he said.
Prior to beginning his quest to go professional, the former Nairobi City Stars man disclosed his individual target of netting of at least fifteen goals and aid the John Baraza coached club gain promotion to the second tier.

The bankers are facing stiff competition from Naivas in the FKF division one zone A league but Katumba believes that his goals will play a crucial role in ensuring the club secures a slot in the National Super League.
Katumba who was plying his trade with Kikuyu FC after leaving City Stars in 2019 has a goal and four assists in three league matches.
"I am aiming at scoring at least fifteen goals in the remaining league matches. Through my experience, I am certain I will meet the target and help the team get promoted to the Super League," he added.
