Even though the Parisians face Toulouse in Ligue 1 tonight (22.05), their tough Champions League draw is the main topic in the French media

Once the draw for the new edition of the UEFA Champions League ended, it was clear that Paris Saint-Germain got the toughest group of rivals out of all 36 teams, as the European Champions will face Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Atalanta, Bayer Leverkusen, Tottenham, Sporting Lisbon, Newcastle, and Athletic Bilbao in the UCL league phase.

Last season, the situation was similar, given that the Saints played against Arsenal, Atletico Madrid, Bayern, and Man City, among others. Speaking to the media ahead of PSG's Ligue 1 clash against Toulouse (22.05), Luis Enrique realized the analogy between the two draws.

"What do you think? It's the same, the same thing. To really analyze it, to be honest, I have to wait for next year's draw. If I see the same thing, maybe it will be a problem with the computer button," he said jokingly via RMC Sport.

In the previous campaign, which ended with a European crown, the Parisians barely advanced to the knockout stage, and Enrique admitted he didn't expect an easier job this season.

"With our schedule, it will be like last year; it's normal to lose matches and points because the level is high, including that of our next opponents. It's difficult to win five matches and draw one to be in the top eight. We can do it, but it will be very difficult. We have to accept that," the Spaniard stated.

In the end, he additionally analyzed PSG's rivals, highlighting the clashes against Bayern and Barca.

"With this schedule, when you play against Bayern Munich or FC Barcelona, it's possible that we could lose points... On our schedule. There are no easy matches. We took two of the best teams from Pot 4 and two of the best from Pot 3. We were a little luckier in Pot 2, and in Pot 1 we also took two of the best teams," Enrique concluded.
