Premier League side Brentford allegedly offered a lavish €70 million for Borussia's striker Maximilian Beier
After six years, Borussia Dortmund spent over €100 million in one transfer window, as their latest reinforcement, Fabio Silva, arrived two days ago from Wolverhampton for €22.5 million. However, just when BVB brought a striker from England, they could lose one who could move to England!
Namely, according to BILD, Brentford offered €70 million for Dortmund's young net-buster Maximilian Beier, which could mean that Yoane Wissa will definitely join Newcastle, as the Bees are obviously looking for a replacement for the Congolese.

Anyway, Borussia's boss Niko Kovac commented on the matter yesterday, claiming the 22-year-old would hardly leave Signal Iduna Park.
"Maxi is an important part of our team. He feels comfortable, doesn't want to leave. And I don't want him to leave either!" the Croat said via BILD.
Nevertheless, the fear in Dortmund is real, as a move to the strongest league in the world could be a genuine once-in-a-lifetime challenge for a young player, and the example of Nick Woltemade, who yesterday joined Newcastle, doesn't help BVB at all.
If Beier indeed decides to join Brentford in the last moments of the June Transfer Window, Dortmund will face a massive problem, as they have recently lost three forwards: Jamie Gittens, Youssoufa Moukoko, and Sebastian Haller.
After all, probably no one at Borussia planned to let the striker for - whom they had paid €28.5 million to Hoffenheim - leave after just a year in their ranks.
