Even though rumours about their new reunion with Jadon Sancho are loud, Borussia are reportedly after Arsenal's forward as well
Arsenal are undergoing a reconstruction under the sporting director Andrea Berta. For the first time in the last five or ten years, the Gunners have had an excellent transfer window in which they managed to significantly reinforce their ranks and add a top-notch striker like Viktor Gyokeres.
Apart from the Swede, Noni Madueke has also arrived to strengthen Mikel Arteta's offensive line, which is now crowded, so the club has to make certain cuts.
Bukayo Saka, Ethan Nwaneri, and Kai Havertz's positions are safe, and the same could be said about Gabriel Martinelli, though his recent performances were way below the expected level. Hence, Gabriel Jesus and Leandro Trossard have been marked as redundant.
And while the Brazilian will allegedly soon return to his homeland, the Belgian will certainly stay in Europe.
Bayern Munich considered him an alternative if they failed in bringing Luis Diaz from Liverpool, but since the Colombian arrived in Germany to sign a deal with the Bundesliga champions, a move to Allianz Arena is no longer an option for Trossard.

Yet, according to renowned German journalist Florian Plettenberg, Bayern's fiercest rivals, Borussia Dortmund, are now keen on signing the forward, despite the recent links with Chelsea's Jadon Sancho.
The difference between the two Dortmund's targets is that Sancho practically has nowhere else to go, while Plettenberg claims that Trossard has two concrete offers from Premier League clubs.
It's definitely too early to tell where the 30-year-old's future lies, but according to the information mentioned above, he'll stay in one of the top European leagues.
