Done deal! Sven Yidah completes S.A move

The player has been training with Marumo Gallants for the past two weeks

Immediate former Nairobi City Stars midfielder Sven Yidah has completed a move to South African top-tier side Marumo Gallants.

The Polokwane-based club shared a snippet of its new signings training and among them is the highly-rated Kenyan defensive midfielder.

The club is shaping up for the new PSL season and the CAF Confederation Cup CUP and is therefore rejigging its squad with some major changes under new coach Romain Folz, who is just 31 years old. Sam Nkomo, Koketso More and Lesiba Nku have already been unveiled officially while Sven and several others will also be presented to the media in the coming days.


Sven featured in last week's friendly match against Kaizer Chiefs and has settled in well in the team. This is his first move abroad having previously played for Ligi Ndogo and Kariobangi Sharks before crossing over to Nairobi City Stars. He has played six times for the Kenya U23 National Team.
