Italian tactician, until today in command with Everton, agrees to join his former club hence the departure of Zinedine Zidane

Carlo Ancelotti will be the new head coach of Real Madrid, the Spanish media announced on Tuesday!

The experienced Italian tactician agreed on terms with his former side, which he already guided from the dugout between 2013 and 2015. Ancelotti has been in charge with Everton since 2019, but sources say that the Italian couldn't resist the challenge to take over Los Blancos after Zinedine Zidane's departure.

Ancelotti managed Real for two seasons, leading them to their 10th European Cup triumph against Atletico Madrid in Lisbon in 2014.

Spanish paper Marca reported broke the news earlier on Tuesday that Ancelotti is 'the chosen one' for the Spanish giants and on the brink of a dramatic return to LaLiga. And hours later, the deal was done with wages no issue for Ancelotti on what has been a whirlwind day in both the Spanish capital and at Finch Farm, Everton's training base.

"Real Madrid C. F. announces that Carlo Ancelotti will be the club's first-team coach for the next three seasons. The ceremonial signing of the contract will take place tomorrow with club president Florentino Perez at Real Madrid City, after which Ancelotti will address the media from 6pm (CET) in an online press conference", the club announced.

According to British media, West Ham boss David Moyes, who managed the Toffees for 11 years, is in the picture to take the reins once again, alongside former Wolves manager Nuno Espirito Santo and ex-Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe.
