When veteran radio presenter Francis Luchivya informed Musungu FC officials of an impending visit by staff from gaming giants, Mozzart Bet, the players made a quick dash back to their training ground at Friends Malava Comprehensive School.

The playing unit had called it a day, and even began retreating to their homes, while others turned their focus to other activities after wrapping up a gruelling morning training session under head coach Benson Burudi.
They never expected anything would drag them back to the arena where the session, conducted under the sweltering heat, had drained their tanks and sucked every ounce of energy from their muscles.
However, a call by Luchivya, a man whose voice has ruled various breakfast shows in leading radio stations over the years, saw them return to their home ground to welcome the guests.
The guests did not show up empty-handed, as they delivered new, full kits and footballs as part of giving back to the community and supporting grassroots clubs.
Through the initiative dubbed New Jerseys for New Champions, Mozzart Bet handed the club the goodies, a timely boost ahead of the start of the Western Region Zone C League.
Captain Brian Ndaya termed the gesture a true source of motivation, heading to the competition, whose winner will seal an automatic promotion to Division One.
"We did not expect to receive the new uniforms until we were asked to return to the training facility. We never saw it coming, not even in our wildest dreams.
At least we will no longer use old kits in the new season. This is also great motivation for the players to push harder as we aim for promotion,” remarked Ndaya.
The skipper thanked Mozzart Bet for kitting the team and for their efforts in promoting football at the base of the pyramid.
"We thank Mozzart Bet for giving us a refreshing look. We have seen them kit other grassroots teams and support the game, which is commendable," he added.
