Rumours of the Portuguese leaving Bianconeri gaining momentum

A day after the 0-3 defeat to AC Milan in Serie A, Cristiano Ronaldo missed the Monday morning training with Juventus and instead visited the Ferrari factory in Maranello with Juve chairman Andrea Agnelli and John Elkann. While visiting the factory, Ronaldo treated himself to a new Ferrari vehicle.

Following a morale-crushing defeat to AC Milan on Sunday night - instead of undergoing a recovery session with his team-mates, the 36-year-old took the day off and lifted his spirits with a bit of shopping.

After a disastrous campaign, former champions are in serious trouble of qualifying for the Champions League next season. Current Serie A standings will send the Old Lady to Europa League.

That fear reached new heights after a 3-0 loss, which left Juve fifth in the Italian championship table.

In his first-ever season as a manager, it has been a year to forget for rookie coach Andrea Pirlo. Chances are far from slim that he will be sacked at the end of the current campaign.

Ronaldo is said to be contemplating a transfer away despite his contract expiring in 2022, whether Juventus finish their season in the top four or not.

With a strange season at Allianz Stadium, to say the least, Ronaldo did not fail to deliver another fruitful year in the domestic competition - he is the Serie A leading goal-scorer with 27 goals.

It might be all in vain, as far as the team effort is concerned. Cristiano Ronaldo will continue chasing on individual accolades, whatever the epilogue might be on the next stop in his career.
