The former Vihiga United, Tusker FC, and AFC Leopards defender initiated the termination of his contract with the Malawian champions last week.
Speaking to Mozzart Sport, Senaji confirmed he is now a free agent after a mutual agreement with the club.
“It is true that I have terminated my contract with Nyasa Big Bullets. It was a mutual decision, and now I am a free agent,” he told Mozzart Sport.
When asked about his next step, the versatile defender said he is open to offers from both local and international clubs, adding that his decision will be based on where he feels most comfortable continuing his career.
“I am open to moving to clubs in Kenya or outside the country. I do not have any preference at this point; it all depends on the offers I receive.
I will settle for a team which I believe is best suited for me to continue my football there,” he said.
On why he chose to leave Nyasa Big Bullets, Senaji, who can operate as a centre-back, defensive midfielder, or right-back, declined to go into specifics but maintained it was a decision made in the best interest of both parties.
“I do not want to go into details, but it is one decision that was good for all parties. I depart with no hard feelings at all, it is all good,” he explained.
He also reserved glowing words for the club, the fans, and the Malawian people, describing them as warm and supportive. He wished the team success for the rest of the season and beyond.
“I have enjoyed my time with Nyasa. It was my first time playing outside Kenya, and I can say I enjoyed every bit.
The fans are amazing, the Malawian people are very warm, and I wish the club nothing but the best in the remainder of the season and in all that lies ahead.”
Senaji is currently being linked with a possible move to KCB FC.
