There is increasing talk about the Frenchman leaving the Royal Club, with PSG emerging as his next likely destination

Eduardo Camavinga’s future at Real Madrid is currently uncertain. According to reports from Spanish outlet AS, Paris Saint-Germain and several strong Premier League clubs have shown serious interest in the Royal Club’s midfielder.

Although neither the player nor the club have taken concrete steps or made any firm decisions yet, the current situation has opened the door to speculation about a possible departure for the Frenchman during the summer transfer window.

The main reason for Camavinga’s dissatisfaction, according to AS, lies in his current status within the team. The young player has faced numerous issues this season, spending a total of two months sidelined for various reasons and missing nine matches.

However, even when fully fit, Camavinga has not managed to establish himself as an indispensable part of the starting lineup. With 1,807 minutes played this season, the Real midfielder is not among the top players by that metric, and in key matches—such as those against Manchester City and Atletico Madrid—other players were preferred. In big games, the midfield has consisted of Tchouameni and youngster Thiago Pitarh, with Valverde and Guler on the wings, while Camavinga has been used as an option from the bench.

Additionally, during his time in Madrid, the Frenchman has played in multiple positions—defensive midfield, central midfield, both flanks, and even left-back—which has prevented him from settling into a natural role within the team.

His dissatisfaction with limited playing time has also carried over to the international level. Camavinga fears for his place in the French national team ahead of the upcoming World Cup, especially considering that during the last international break he played only 30 minutes and has lost his status as a starter under Didier Deschamps.

AS reports that Paris Saint-Germain, who had been tracking Camavinga since his teenage days at Rennes, have reignited their interest. The Parisians see him as an ideal addition who would bring physicality to a talented midfield that includes Vitinha, Ruben Neves, Zaire-Emery, and Fabian Ruiz.

On the other hand, Premier League clubs view Camavinga as a player whose profile perfectly suits the high intensity of English football, highlighting his considerable experience despite his young age, which includes two Champions League titles.

Although Real Madrid have not officially placed the player on the transfer list, AS states that within the club there is growing talk that a lucrative offer could lead to a separation from the player, who arrived in the Spanish capital in 2021 for €30 million plus bonuses. A potential transfer fee has not been mentioned, and Camavinga remains under contract with Madrid until July 2029.
