CAFCC: Sven's Marumo Gallants through to final round as Zesco crash out

Sven Yidah's Marumo Gallants are a step closer to the converted CAF Confederation Cup group stages after beating Elgeco Plus 2-0 while Zesco United, home to Kenyan duo of Vincent Oburu and Ian Otieno crashed out of the tournament.

Marumo Gallants sailed to the CAF Confederation Cup playoffs after a 1-0 win (4-1 agg.) over Malagasy side Elgeco Plus in the Second Preliminary Round of the competition.

Kenyan international Sven Yidah missed the match day squad as he looks not to be in favor of newly installed head coach Dan Malesela.
