The Machakos Stadium is in a poor state.
Two FKF Premier League games scheduled to take place at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos have been canceled due to the poor condition of the playing surface caused by heavy rainfall across the country.
Nairobi City Stars were supposed to host Ulinzi Stars, followed by a match between Posta Rangers and FC Talanta, but both matches have been called off by FKF.

The venue hosted two games yesterday: one was a National Super League match, and the other was an FKF Premier League duel.
Naivas FC faced off against Vihiga Bullets before making way for the match between Sofapaka and Shabana FC. In both games, the players struggled with the slippery and soggy pitch, making it difficult for the ball to move easily.
The federation has not yet announced a new date for the two postponed games, but the decision is expected before the close of business today. It's anticipated that the two games could be played during the week.
FKF statement
Two FKF Premier League matches scheduled for today at Machakos Stadium have been postponed due to heavy rainfall.
The affected fixtures: Posta Rangers vs FC Talanta and Nairobi City Stars vs Ulinzi Stars, will be rescheduled for a later date, to be communicated soon.
FKF is closely monitoring the weather conditions. The new dates for these matches will be communicated when suitable and safe conditions for all involved are ensured.
Further updates will be provided through our official communication channels.
The stadium is set to host tomorrow's National Super League match between MCF and Nairobi United, but it's unclear if the game will proceed as planned or if there will be a venue change.
The heavy downpour across the country has significantly impacted every aspect of life, including football, which has not been spared.
