We saw quite an unusual prelude to the game, with the start being delayed for almost half an hour. The Bundesliga leaders have recorded their 13th win in a row

OK, this is not something we see every day - Bayern Munich's away game at Borussia Monchengladbach on Saturday afternoon started almost half an hour later than scheduled due to a traffic jam preventing Vincent Kompany and his boys from arriving on time.

Still, the Rekordmeister were there when it counted - storming in the second half to record a 3-0 landslide win, their 13th in a row across all competitions.

This unexpected delay probably affected the table toppers who could not break the deadlock against the stubborn hosts - at the bottom of the Bundesliga table, by the way - in the first half. Harry Kane and his teammates attacked ineffectively and their nervousness was almost palpable on a rainy afternoon against the underdogs.

Until the 64th minute, it seemed like we were heading to a sensational goalless draw, which wouldn't have changed the outcome of the Bundesliga title race but would have made headlines all over the world. Imagine Borussia Monchengladbach, of all teams, stopping Munich's remarkable winning streak!

Alas, Joshua Kimmich had other plans. The experienced Bayern Munich captain scored to break the deadlock, thus killing the home side's hopes of miraculously avoiding the defeat to the giants. Moreover, they missed the penalty a bit later and there was no doubt about the direction the match was going to.

Guerreiro and fantastic teenager Lennart Karl added their names to the scoresheet, with the latter netting a genuine screamer to wrap up the tie in sensational fashion.

Only a few days ago, he became the youngest Munich player to score in the Champions League, and now this - it doesn't get much better than that, does it?
