Bayern aim to continue unbeaten Bundesliga run in Cologne, as Kompany hopes for Musiala's soon return

Although they'll be without five first-team players, anything but the Bavarians' victory at RheinEnergieStadion would be a massive upset
Bayern Munich are on one of the most successful streaks in Bundesliga history, having gone unbeaten in 16 rounds, with 14 wins and just two draws, scoring the most goals and conceding the fewest, and boasting a crushing goal difference of 63-12.
Still, the Bavarians as well as their boss Vincent Kompany have to pay to every opponent, including Koln, which they face tonight on the road (22.30). However, despite the Belgian's kind words, any outcome other than Bayern's triumph would be a massive upset.
Apart from the rivals, Kompany devoted a considerable time in the pre-match press conference to the injured Jamal Musiala and his recovery. After all, the Munich side may not urgently need him now, but he'd be a valuable asset when the season reaches its critical point.
"I'm really looking forward to that moment [Musiala's return]. Jamal will be given the time to get back to his best."
VINCENT KOMPANY ON THE SQUAD AND THE ABSENCE OF JOSHUA KIMMICH AND JAMAL MUSIALA: "Everything is going well with Jamal, he can do almost everything and is putting in a lot of extra work. That's a good sign - and he'll be back soon. pic.twitter.com/4o1S7ha9Lm

"When he's back to his level, I hope we'll have a positive problem. I want to enjoy this situation, I want it – as soon as possible," the strategist said via Kicker.
Ahead of the clash in Cologne, the 22-year-old forward isn't the only Bayern player sidelined, as Joshua Kimmich, Josip Stanisic, Alphonso Davies, and Nicolas Jackson (who is at the Africa Cup of Nations with Senegal national team) won't be at Kompany's disposal.
A huge blow for some other team, but only a minor setback for the soaring Bavarians.
