The charismatic defender obviously enjoys himself on the pitch, even in those title-deciding games

Gerard Pique is on the scene for more than a decade and has been one of the most significant members of that Pep Guardiola's Barca side that won two Champions League titles.

From 2009 to 2018, he was also a member of the Spanish national team. During that time, he made many friends, even from the Blaugrana's closest rivals, like Real Madrid or Atletico Madrid. One of them is Jorge Resurreccion Merodio, better known for his nickname Koke. The captain of Los Colchoneros is a good friend of Barca's centre-back and has spoken about the two sides' last encounter at Camp Nou on May 8. Asked about his conversation with Pique, while laying on the ground in the free-kick wall, Koke explained:

That tie between Barcelona and newly promoted champions, Atletico, ended in a goalless draw.
