The rights have allegedly been sold to several Arabian companies, and the deal is for 20 years. This way, Blaugrana will earn €100 million, which will be enough to solve the burning issue and keep the Spanish international and talented forward at the club.
Once Barcelona receives the money, they will finish the paperwork with La Liga and check whether the 1:1 rule is followed, which states that a club can spend only as much as it earns. Hence, the Manchester giants and Arsenal, which were reportedly interested in Olmo, will lose the battle - at least for now.
Barca's management has found a way to deal with the current crisis, but selling rights for parts of the stadium is far from a long-term solution. Moreover, it looks like a desperate move that (hopefully) won't cost the Catalans in the future.
