Timbe provided an assist in the two league games he played for Vissel Kobe.
Kenyan international Ayub Timbe's bright start to life at Vissel Kobe has not gone unnoticed as he has been nominated for the club’s April Player of the Month gong.
Since being handed his debut on Saturday 17 April, the midfielder has fit into life at Kobe like a hand to a glove, featuring in two league matches and providing an assist in the process.
Timbe will face strong opposition in the name of former Barcelona midfielder Sergi Samper, Kyogo Furuhashi and Ryuho Kikuchi.
Kenyans wishing to cast their vote for Timbe can do so on Kobe’s official website and can provide a reason for their choice on the Harambee Stars winger.

The poll closes on Saturday at 6 PM East African Time (EAT).
His wait to link up with the team has been worth it after signing for the club in late February but arrived in Japan on Friday 26 March due to the travel restrictions in the country.
After arriving in Japan from Belgium, Timbe was placed in the JVillage for two weeks as per the country’s Covid-19 travel protocols.
The former Reading FC winger made his Kobe debut in the barren draw against Shonan Bellmare and followed that up with an assist in the 1-1 draw against Kashima Antlers.
Aside from playing the two league games, the 28-year-old has also featured in the Japan Levain Cup where Kobe lost 0-1 Tokushima Vortis.
