Arsenal's cold-resistant warrior could return home

When he arrived in London five and a half years ago, no Arsenal fan didn't think the Gunners got a left-back for the future. However, it seems that Kieran Tierney's spell at Emirates is closing to the imminent end, while the expectations will remain unmet.

The Scot initially stood out with his passionate playing style, inexhaustible energy, and, why not mention that as well, his complete resistance to cold, as the photos of him wearing only a T-shirt and shorts on a snow-covered pitch in training sessions went viral.

However, when it comes to his actual contribution - it was far from satisfactory. Tierney did make 125 appearances at Arsenal, but his frequent injuries kept him sidelined and sent a message that he was too unreliable.

Last season's loan at Real Sociedad brought nothing to either the defender or Arsenal and parting ways seems inevitable at the moment. Sources from England claim that Tierney is negotiating with Celtic, the club from which he joined the Gunners, and is ready to return to his homeland. Moreover, he is allegedly willing to accept a pay cut just to leave the Emirates. A poor ending to another "what could have been" story...
