A man has been arrested after shining a laser into Mykhaylo Mudryk's face during Arsenal's 3-1 victory over Chelsea at the Emirates on Tuesday night.
Mudryk spent the last half an hour on the pitch after coming in as a substitute.
The 22-year-old winger was booed by the home crowd following his introduction and had a green light flashed on his face during his time on the pitch.
A Metropolitan Police statement read:
"A 21-year-old man was arrested at the Emirates Stadium during the Arsenal v Chelsea match on May 2 on suspicion of a public order offence. He has been taken into custody."
The FA are also looking into the incident. An Arsenal spokesperson said:
"An arrest has been made following the use of a laser during last night's match. This behaviour is dangerous and totally unacceptable, and we will fully support the police with their enquiries and take action as appropriate."
