Mario Gotze, who scored the title-worth goal in the 2014 FIFA World Cup final against Messi and co, is now thrilled about their win in Qatar
If you think Lionel Messi went a long way from 2014 and that shocking World Cup final defeat to 2022 and the euphoria after finally clinching the world championship title, think again.

But now, eight years later, we see Gotze in a whole different role, and it's totally opposite to anything you could imagine - he's a passionate supporter of Lionel Scaloni's slot!
Gotze and his son Rome wildly celebrated Argentina's win, and the footballer even posted an edited photo of a smiling 35-year-old Messi consoling his 2014 younger self.
