CR7's eldest son has done a couple of training sessions with Los Blancos' U-16 team, all as part of a plan to join the Spanish giants permanently in the near future

All respect to Al-Nassr, but Cristiano Ronaldo joined the Saudi side to end his career in a more relaxed mode and - why not admit it? - earn vastly. He had made a name for himself at Manchester United, becoming one of the greatest prospects in the world, while his stint with Real Madrid established him as arguably the most ruthless scorer football has ever had.

His son, Cristiano Jr, made his first teenage football steps in Riyadh due to circumstances, because CR7 played there, but it was clear that the youngster would sooner or later have to seek his fortune at a much more powerful club than Al-Nassr.

And that day seems to have come. It was only a matter of time before Ronaldo guided his boy to either Manchester or Madrid, and he apparently opted for the latter.

Namely, according to The Athletic, Cristiano Jr did his first training session with Los Blancos' U-16 team yesterday, all part of a plan to join his father's former club permanently in the near future.

At the same time, Marca reveals that, although a striker, the 15-year-old played as a winger, and that he'll stay in the Spanish capital for a few more days.

Before Al-Nassr, Cristiano Jr played for Juventus and Man United's academy teams, while Ronaldo represented those teams. Although born in the USA, the youngster regularly plays for Portugal's youth teams, so he can be said to closely follow in his father's footsteps.
