Kenya Police coach Antony Kimani has bemoaned the lack of killer instinct in his side and equally blamed it on the draw against Tusker.

The law enforcers took the lead in the 19th minute through Marvin Nabwire but failed to protect their lead, allowing the beer makers to equalize in the 89th-minute courtesy of Lawrence Luvanda.
Speaking to the press after the match, Kimani lamented his side's inability to put games to rest when they had the opportunity
“It is important to maintain our concentration throughout the match. We need to kill off games when we have the momentum and chance to do so. Our conversion rate needs to increase because we create so many chances that don't find the back of the net,” he said.
However, the former Mathare United captain was impressed with his side's display of football and performance especially in the first half where they dictated play.
“We played well. We controlled the game well especially in the first half and created enough chances that should have given us an unassailable lead that would have made it difficult for Tusker to come back,” he stated.
Asked whether he thinks his team should have defended better to protect their first-half lead and win the game, the former AFC Leopards tactician insisted that they should have at least buried their chances.
“I feel that we have been costed by our inability to convert our chances which gave Tusker the belief that they still have something in the game,” he offered.
Kimani will have time to make amends for the areas of concern in his team and hopes that they will be better when they take on the military side Ulinzi Stars after the international break.
